Introduction to NAC
NAC is a device which scans the system for a set of parameters before joining the LAN. Whenever any device tries to connect corporate LAN directly or using VPN, NAC scans the device for updated AV, HIPS, OS patches, and vulnerabilities etc. If it finds everything ok, it will connect the system; else will block the device and send a notification to the respective NAC administrator.
